This page explains what personal data we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. If anything's unclear, get in touch through the contact page and we'll talk you through it.
Who we are
Titan Fashions is a trading name of Titan Fashions Ltd, a small UK-based business operating an online shop at titanfashions.com. Our registered office is Lavant, Chichester, West Sussex, PO18 0BW, United Kingdom. For data-protection purposes we are the controller of the personal data you give us. What we collect
When you place an order
- Your name, delivery address, billing address (if different), email and phone number.
- A record of the items you ordered, the price you paid, and how you paid.
- If you pay by gift card: the retailer, card number, and balance you've applied. We share these details only with the issuer (or a verification provider acting on the issuer's behalf) to confirm the balance.
- Card payment details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We don't see your full card number.
When you browse the site
- Your IP address, browser type, the pages you look at, and how long you stay on each. This is standard server-log information.
- If you've consented, we also use cookies and similar tools described below.
Why we use it
- To take and fulfil your order (legal basis: contract).
- To verify gift card balances with the relevant retailer (legal basis: contract).
- To prevent fraud, debug problems and keep the site secure (legal basis: legitimate interests).
- To send order updates by email (legal basis: contract).
- To send marketing emails, but only if you've signed up — and you can unsubscribe any time (legal basis: consent).
- To meet our legal obligations, like keeping VAT records (legal basis: legal obligation).
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We do share it with a small number of providers we use to run the shop:
- Stripe (payments).
- Royal Mail and DPD (UK delivery).
- Google (analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies).
- The relevant gift card issuer or their verification partner, when you pay by gift card.
- Our hosting provider (so the site stays up).
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for 7 years for tax purposes. Marketing email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are rotated after 30 days unless we need them for a security investigation.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop using it for marketing. Email support@titanfashions.com and we'll come back to you within one calendar month. If you're not happy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies (your shopping bag, your cookie preference) are set as soon as you arrive — these are required for the site to work. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any point by clearing your browser's storage or using the link below.
What each cookie does
- titan_cart — remembers what's in your shopping bag (strictly necessary).
- titan_cookie — remembers your cookie consent choice (strictly necessary).
- _ga, _gid — Google Analytics, helps us see which pages people use (only if you accept).
